This journal is a continuation of my blog, a rickety bridge of impossible crossing. Bearblog is a great platform, but most of the writing I've done in my life was on Livejournal circa 2002-2012, and I've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I'll continue the same kind of writing I did on my blog; I also plan to make use of the "Access List" feature to post more personal or candid entries for a circle of trusted readers. If we know each other, feel free to request access in a comment here (or grant me access to your journal and I'll reciprocate.)

You can subscribe to public entries via RSS or atom, so if you've been reading via the feed, just update your subscription URL and not much should change. Comments will be open, anonymous comments are allowed but screened. I look forward to getting back into the swing of things.

If you don't know me, hi! I'm m·bluelander, an appalachian typing raccoon (procyon montani) (they/them). You can call me mint or mid (or, for confusing reasons, mand) for short. I'm a nonbinary anarchist writer and game developer, among many other things. You can find me on social media at minterpunct@gamemaking.social. If you want to check out some games I've made, you can find them on itch.io. I'm pretty friendly, so feel free to drop a line.

I do not use generative "AI" transformer or diffusion models, or intentionally engage with any "AI-generated" content. If I'm unknowingly promoting something made with "AI", please let me know. Additionally, I retain copyright over this text and forbid its use for training large language models or any other generative "AI" software.
